The Top 3 'The House Cleaning Podcast' Episodes of January 2019

Wow!  So, January 2019 came and went already!  Can you believe it?  We are now about half way through the first trimester of the year.  And, what a start to the year it was!  How are your goals coming along?  Are you on track with your goals and resolutions?  

One of my goals for January 2019 was to start off strong with The House Cleaning Podcast.  I truly wanted to begin the year on a high note when it came to how many people I was helping with my podcast.  And, although I didn't put an exact number on what I was expecting or shooting for, let me tell you, I was blown away by how well January was for the show!  In total there were 671 unique downloads of the podcast in the month of January 2019!  I mean this completely smashed my first launch of the show back in April of 2018!

I'm very grateful for everyone who downloads and listens to the show!  I truly hope that in one way or another I'm helping you or inspiring you to dream big with your small business!  

In this blog post I will talk a bit about "The Top 3 'The House Cleaning Podcast' Episodes of 2019!

Below I will list the top three downloaded episodes for my podcast in the month of January.  Let me know in the comments section if there was any in particular - either from the ones I am about to mention or others that did not make the list - that really caught your attention; I'd love to find out!  Let's begin!

• #1) "Success Is Not Final; Failure Is Not Fatal"
  • Published on January 4th, 2019, this Clean Your Mind Friday episode topped the January list with the most downloads.  In it I review and break down the quote: "Success is not failure, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts," by Winston Churchill.  I give my opinion on why it's important to never view success as an end-point and to never get bogged down by a bump on the road; rather I emphasize the importance to always keep striving to reach bigger and higher goals.  If you're in need of some post-resolution-writing motivation, I sincerely recommend you listen to this episode!
• #2) "How To Deal With Nasty Reviews" 
  • Published the day after New Year's (January 2nd, 2019).  In this Perspective Wednesday episode I talk about how to turn any negative or nasty review left on one of those reviews website or platforms in your favor.  Not only that, but I also talk about the importance of learning to accept that our businesses are not perfect and that a nasty or negative review can be taken as a wake-up call so that we can be more proactive when it comes to the constant improvement and development of our cleaning businesses.  If you've recently received a nasty or negative review anywhere on the web - whether a review site, your social media channels, or even your own website - I strongly recommend you listen to this episode as it can help you get back up on your feet in order for you to keep moving forward!
• #3) "A Hiring Strategy First Step"
  • Finally the 3rd most downloaded episode of January, 2019 was "A Hiring Strategy First Step" - published on January 7th, 2019.  In this Strategy Monday episode I give you a peak into a hiring strategy that I've used in my family's cleaning business.  It is also the foundation for a product that I intend on releasing later this year.  One that will help you if you're having a difficult time with your hiring process.  In this episode I talk about the importance of establishing clear expectations for your employees (or future employees).  Many times we, as business owners, get frustrated because our employees don't seem to "get it."  But, I believe it's a matter of communication.  So, if you're having a difficult time getting started with your hiring process or strategy, then I highly recommend you check this episode out!
