American comedian and actor Milton Berle said: “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.”
Do you find yourself lacking opportunities as of late with your cleaning business? Well, join me in today’s Clean Your Mind Friday episode as I break down this quote and try to inspire you so you can start implementing this quote in your business!
In this episode I’m going to give you my perspective as to why I believe it’s essential that you view the development of your business as creating a product or developing or building your business as if you were going to sell it...even if you’re not!
Now, let me ask you a question in order to try to get you to see my perspective. If you decide - for whatever reason - to sell your business next month, do you think someone would want to buy it? If you placed a “For Sale” sign on your business, how many people would inquire about it?
Do you have a “Start Here” page on your website? If not, then you’ll want to stick around and check out my strategy for newly-committed customers. You see I created a “Start Here” page on our website specifically for those customers who agree to having us cleaning their home. I’ll explain my concept around the “Start Here” page.
I was recently having a conversation with one of my followers on Instagram and he asked how I was able to read two books each month. Many of you know from my posts that in 2018 I made it a goal of mine to read at least two books per month. And, I've actually stepped it up a notch this year - my goal in 2019 is to read at least 3 books per month. I'm on track. I finished January 2019 having read 5 books.
In this blog post I will explain to you "How I Read At Least 3 Books Every Month".
“Turn your ‘I can’t’ into ‘I haven’t figured it out yet’.”
How powerful is this quote: “Turn your ‘I can’t’ into ‘I haven’t figured it out yet’.” The minute you start to apply this quote to your life; the minute you start viewing life as a classroom you’ll start living life more positively, more optimistically, more motivated!
A couple of weeks ago I ran a poll on my Instagram account asking how many of my followers kept in touch with one-time customers.
You know, those customers who use your service once and never commit to a routine service.
Now, there’s also the ones, within the same group, who do go to you, but every now and then. They don’t subscribe to a routinary schedule. I was actually surprised to find out that - even though the margin was not extreme - the majority of those who answered the poll said they don't stay in touch with one-timers.
Welcome to another edition of Strategy Monday! I was recently having a conversation with a follower of mine who was asking what strategy I’d recommend for her to start working on her business systems. She wants to start systematizing and automating her business so that she can focus on other things in life - I mean, don’t we all? If this is also one of your goals in 2019, then you’ll definitely want to stick around for today’s episode as I will be sharing the exact same strategy I shared with her. A strategy that you’ll be able to start working on today!
Podcast subscription rose significantly in 2018. According to statistics, 60% of the US population is familiar with the word "podcasting"; and, it's only expected to rise in the next few years. Another interesting statistic is that 52% of people listen to podcasts while driving; 46% while traveling; and, 40% while walking, running, or riding a bike.
I can tell you right now that I include myself in those statistics! I listen to podcasts throughout the day - while driving, traveling, and when working out.
In this blog post I will let you know about "The Top 5 Podcasts I Listened To In 2018".
Colin Powell said: “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.”
